A little bit about me.

I

am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

I provide psychotherapy, counselling, and coaching services for individuals living in Meaford, Owen Sound, and the surrounding areas of beautiful Grey-Bruce County.

Education, Training and Experience

I earned my honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University.

Over the years I have been very fortunate to work, train and volunteer in many renowned clinical settings including McGill’s Psychoeducational and Counselling Clinic, the Springboard Clinic (specializing in ADHD assessment and treatment), the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and the Counselling and Development Department at Concordia University.

These diverse learning experiences - from inpatient forensic psychiatry to university counselling and accessibility centers - have allowed me the ability to work with a wide variety of clients experiencing an equally wide array of concerns.

Having experienced my own physical and mental health challenges as an adolescent, I know what it is like to be in the other chair. And I know what it is like to struggle in the pursuit of finding the right help.

Many years later, when deciding on a career path, I knew I wanted to work in a field where I could use my experiences to help others going through similar personal challenges.

Although I knew deep down that helping others was the right path for me, I could never have predicted how much I would gain in return. I consider it a privilege to accompany and support others in their path toward personal growth and greater happiness.

In my spare time you can often find me enjoying the shores of Georgian Bay with my dog Charlie; who is currently in training to become a therapy dog with St. John's Ambulance. I also enjoy spending time with friends, finding new and exciting ways to express my creative side, and relaxing with some yoga.
